Once Australia’s tallest hotel, the spectacular Italian Renaissance building designed by Vrgil Dante Cizzo, underwent meticulous restoration led by award-winning Australian interior design studio Tom Mark Henry. The restoration project included preserving the original façade and reversing unsympathetic alterations, such as reviving prominent ghost signage and replicating 1930s steel windows on the Pitt Street frontage.
Hotel Morris houses 82 newly renovated Art Deco guest rooms and suites, seamlessly integrating heritage charm with contemporary comfort. Adding to its allure is Bar Morris, an intimate Italian wine and cocktail bar located within the lobby, adorned with local artwork.
